Advita Patel and Alison Tobin named CIPR Fellows

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has awarded Fellowship of the Institute to Advita Patel FCIPR and Alison Tobin Chart.PR, FCIPR for their outstanding contribution to the industry. 

Advita Patel, FCIPR

Advita has been a member of CIPR for almost six years and has played an active role on the CIPR Inside committee for the past four years, leading the social media agenda and more recently as Vice Chair. Advita has grown the engagement across social media for the group (from 3403 to 8000 followers on twitter) and led the redesign of the group’s website. She contributes to industry discussions through blogs and articles, and in March 2018 she was named as one of 50 women on the Northern Power Women Future List for her commitment to the world of communications.


Alison Tobin Chart.PR, FCIPR

Having been a member for almost 20 years, Alison has been an active participant of CPD and became a Chartered Practitioner in 2017. Alison has been involved with the Education and Skills group for a number of years and is their current Chair. Over the years she has been instrumental in aligning events with other regional and sectoral groups. Alison has regularly contributed to industry articles, including Letters to BledCom and PR Week features. With a passion for professionalism, Alison supports those looking to become Chartered Practitioners and spends time delivering training to PhD students around communicating research.
