CIPR Election 2016 - Campaigning Begins

The Returning Officer has formally signalled the start of campaigning in the CIPR Election 2016.

The following ballots will take place:

  • President Elect (3 candidates, 1 seat)
  • England regional groups list (6 candidates, 5 seats)
  • Open list (17 candidates, 8 seats)

Statements by the candidates and more information about the election can be accessed on the CIPR website.

Voting papers will be sent to members on 12 September.

About CIPR Elections
The CIPR is a Chartered body led by a President, who is the Chairman of the Institute and the representative of the profession in the UK. CIPR members elect a President-Elect every autumn who succeeds to the Presidency after 1 year and then serves a further year as Past President. Members also elect an Honorary Treasurer. Council elections are held every 2 years.
