CIPR to host live President-Elect debate

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) will host a public debate between candidates for President-Elect 2017 on Thursday 1 September at the CIPR's offices in Russell Square, London.

The event will begin at 6pm and will be streamed live on YouTube for the benefit of those unable to attend. Each Candidate will give a short presentation before taking questions individually. Members are encouraged submit questions from the floor or in advance by emailing the Returning Officer. Booking is available via Eventbrite.

Members are reminded that nominations for the 2016 CIPR Election close on Wednesday 31 August.

Nominations can be made to stand for:

  • President-Elect 2017 (to serve as President in 2018)
  • Honorary Treasurer 2017
  • Council members (to serve for two years from 2017

Campaigning will commence on 5 September and voting will open on 12 September. Further information on the Election is available on the CIPR website.
