#CIPRCHAT on implications of the EU elections

#CIPRCHAT returns on Wednesday 4 June to examine the results of the European elections and their implications for public affairs and communications professionals. Co-organisers, CIPR International and CIPR Public Affairs, will be joined by the Head of Press Unit at the European Parliament, Marjory van den Broeke, for an hour-long discussion on European affairs.

The session will take place between 12:00 and 13:00 (GMT) and questions will be proposed by @CIPR_UK using the #CIPRCHAT hashtag.

In addition to probing the results of the European elections, the discussion will focus on the new European Commission and its policy direction. @CIPR_PA will be on hand to debate the implications of future legislation for public affairs professionals and Marjory van den Broeke will be available to discuss the European Parliament’s future communications initiatives.

#CIPRCHAT sessions offer CIPR members and public relations practitioners the opportunity to participate in an hour-long discussion with senior CIPR members and volunteers on topical issues facing the profession. A timeline of a previous #CIPRCHAT is available via Storify.
