New senior appointments at iprovision

Leading local government PR specialist Pat Gaudin Found. Chart. PR, FCIPR has been appointed Chair of the CIPR's benevolent fund, iprovision, with communications director and consultant Annette Spencer Chart.PR, FCIPR confirmed as Vice Chair.

Having been a trustee for over eight years, Pat recently served as iprovision's Deputy Chair, helping the organisation to fulfil its ambition of supporting PR practitioners and their families in times of need.

She has been a CIPR member since 1991, has served on Council and Board and has chaired both the CIPR Local Public Services and the former Professional Development & Membership Committee. In 2013, she was awarded the Sir Stephen Tallents medal for exceptional achievement in PR practice.

Annette Spencer Chart.PR, FCIPR has worked in a number of senior communications roles in the financial services sector, including Director of Communications at The Investment Association and UK Head of Communications for RSA Insurance.

Annette has recently completed interim contracts at Zurich Insurance and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), is a past chairman of the CIPR Corporate and Financial group and sits on the CIPR’s Finance Committee.
