The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has today announced that its Diversity Working Group will host the next in its series of successful Equal Access Network events on Thursday 26 June at the CIPR offices in Russell Square.

The theme will be ‘Growing the talent pool: why diverse teams are vital for successful communications'. The event will feature a panel discussion in which senior business leaders will discuss the business benefits of diversity and inclusivity within the public relations industry. Guests will leave with a greater understanding of how and why diverse public relations teams deliver better results.

Panellists include:

  • Ruth Cooper, Managing Consultant, Professional and Executive Recruitment, Equal Approach
  • Jane Mote, Launch Programme Director, London Live
  • Dianah Worman, Public Policy Adviser Diversity, CIPD

The event, which is free for CIPR members and non-members, will be followed by a drinks reception. This is an opportunity for PR practitioners from all backgrounds to meet with fellow practitioners and discuss the most important issues relating to diversity and representation within the PR industry.

Doors open at 18:00 for a 18:30 start.
