John W. Hayes, Marketing Manager, Vocus UK
Vocus is delighted to sponsor the Best Use of Social Media category at this year’s CIPR Excellence Awards. The PR industry is not immune to digital disruption and social media represents a significant change to the way things used to be done. Traditional media outlets no longer have the monopoly over mass communication and influence. If PR professionals and the organisations they represent are to remain effective they must adapt to this brave new world. As a leading provider of social media marketing and Public Relations technology, Vocus are best placed to support organisations moving their PR activities into the realm of social media and we look forward to rewarding excellence in this category.
