ABPI joins CIPR as Corporate Affiliate interest surges
The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has become the latest organisation to sign up to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations' (CIPR) Corporate Affiliate scheme, reflecting increased interest in the programme from a broad range of sectors.
More than 240 communications professionals from 18 companies have joined as Corporate Affiliates in 2017, unlocking a wealth of benefits including reduced membership fees and discounts on training.
The ABPI - which represents leading global pharmaceutical companies in the UK, including AstraZeneca, GSK and Pfizer - have joined organisations including the General Medical Council and UK Power Networks, as well as consultancies such as Weber Shandwick and Tank PR by signing up in 2017.
We are passionate about creating and sharing the stories that underpin how our amazing pharmaceutical company members contribute to the health and wealth of the UK. CIPR Corporate Affiliate membership offers our team valuable insights to ensure we’re delivering the best possible communications approaches and solutions to help our industry thrive.
We're thrilled to welcome the ABPI as Corporate Affiliate members of the CIPR. Now more than ever, communications teams across the UK are eager to prove their value and professionalism to clients and colleagues. The credibility of membership, working towards Accredited and Chartered status, coupled with continuing development opportunities across all experience levels is prompting more teams to pursue Corporate Affiliate membership. I look forward to personally supporting our new members to ensure they maximise the value of their membership.
Available to teams of 10 or more, Corporate Affiliate membership grants agency and in-house teams access to a range of benefits including enhanced professional and CPD support through dedicated relationship management and bespoke training courses.
