ABPI joins CIPR as Corporate Affiliate interest surges

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has become the latest organisation to sign up to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations' (CIPR) Corporate Affiliate scheme, reflecting increased interest in the programme from a broad range of sectors.

More than 240 communications professionals from 18 companies have joined as Corporate Affiliates in 2017, unlocking a wealth of benefits including reduced membership fees and discounts on training.

The ABPI - which represents leading global pharmaceutical companies in the UK, including AstraZeneca, GSK and Pfizer - have joined organisations including the General Medical Council and UK Power Networks, as well as consultancies such as Weber Shandwick and Tank PR by signing up in 2017.
