Sarah Hall joins Athena40’s Global Committee

CIPR President Sarah Hall has joined the Athena40 global committee, recognising the work of leading female thought leaders.

Athena40’s mission is to discover and acknowledge the work of the 40 most dynamic, active and fearless women columnists, commentators and activists across all industries and from all over the world. It was created by Elizabeth Filippouli, a journalist and Founder of the Global Thinkers Forum and Elif Shafak, an award-winning novelist and political scientist.

Those selected for Athena40 are evaluated for their immediate impact and long term work. A global selection will be published every two years.

It is a privilege to be working on the Athena40 project. On #IWD2018, I want to highlight this initiative which focuses on accountability in leadership, women's empowerment and youth development. We must recognise and enable the contribution that woman make to the economy and society.

Sarah’s appointment caps a week in which she was named in the PRWeek Power Book and on the Northern Powerhouse role model list.
