CIPR Annual Conference sets sights on Influencing the Future

Returning on Tuesday 8 November 2022, the CIPR Annual Conference at The National Gallery in London and online will bring together practitioners and experts from across the world in a global celebration and exploration of the trends which are influencing the future of the rapidly evolving PR sector.

From navigating the Metaverse to making the most of TikTok, embracing purpose-driven communities and understanding our role as communicators in the sustainability landscape, this year's event cements the significance of strategic PR leadership as the world around us is changing.

Speakers include Sophia Smith Galer, award-winning TikTok journalist and Senior News Reporter at VICE World News, and Solitaire Townsend, entrepreneur, sustainability expert, author and co-founder of the global change agency Futerra. Further speaker reveals will take place ahead of the event.

In-person attendees at The National Gallery will benefit from networking opportunities, speaker Q&A, panel discussions, and the chance to choose their own content through interactive breakout sessions. Delegates will also be able to join the main stage from anywhere in the world via the hybrid platform.

While the term 'unprecedented' needs to be consigned to the history books, it is clear that rapid changes to the way in which we work, interact, behave and consume are having a massive impact on how we communicate today and how we will need to advise and lead senior teams into the future. This conference will provide the space in which we can come together and share our thoughts and experiences about how this is affecting our roles, and how we can be the ones influencing the future - in all its many definitions.

I'm looking forward to seeing many of you in the room in November so we can have those discussions and learn from each other and the speakers we are privileged to have with us. We're also excited to offer an online option for those of you who can't make it in person on the day.

Full programme details will be revealed over the coming weeks and months in the run-up to the conference, so save the date and book your tickets today.
