CIPR Awards Fellowships to Seven Members

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has today announced the appointment of seven new Fellows from its membership in recognition of their outstanding work in the practice of public relations and their service to the Institute.

CIPR Fellows play an important role in promoting professionalism and best practice in the field of public relations, as well as contributing to the Institute's working groups, panels and consultations for the benefit of the industry as a whole.

Fellowships are awarded by the CIPR’s Council, following nomination by two Fellows or Members of the Institute. Among those awarded Fellowship status is current CIPR Treasurer Dave Sanders. The full list of members awarded Fellowships is as follows:

  • Russell Grossman (Director of Communications - Department for Business, Innovation & Skills)
  • Tom Kelly (Managing Director - Stakeholder Communications)
  • Eoghan Mortell (Managing Director - Working Word Public Relations)
  • Deborah Oliver (Director - Mackintosh Oliver)
  • Glyn Roberts (Chief Executive - Northern Ireland Independent Retail Trade Association)
  • Dave Sanders (Managing Director - Dave Sanders & Associates)
  • Nicky Stephen (Marketing Consultant - Nicky Stephen Marketing)

It is a great privilege to recognise these seven members as new Fellows of the CIPR. They each hold invaluable experience and will be able to provide unique insight into the profession and all of the issues facing the PR sector as a whole. Fellowship is our highest grade of membership and being named as a Fellow is a unique recognition of experience, professionalism and service. Most notably, our Fellows are nominated by their peers in the Industry, demonstrating their respect within the profession. We look forward to working with our new Fellows who will play an important role within the CIPR; sharing their expertise to promote the industry and the successes of its practitioners.
