The Global Alliance (GA) has established Regional Councils to complement and promote their work. As a former Chair of the CIPR International Group, Eva’s appointment provides an opportunity to raise global professional standards and share knowledge to benefit both Global Alliance and CIPR members.

Eva Maclaine FCIPR, CIPR Ethics lead
Raising professional and ethical PR standards are the cornerstone of my beliefs and this complements well the priorities of Global Alliance. In addition to working internationally in my day job, I have led CIPR International for some years and continue to serve as a member. This experience, together with my years as a CIPR Board Director and Council member, will contribute to the value I can bring to my term on the European Regional Council of the Global Alliance.

I very much looking forward to working with my European colleagues to highlight the organisation’s global vision, to help promote its 2021 Global Public Relations and Communication Model and to contribute to other aspects of its work, serving its 300,000 practitioners and academics across 126 countries.

I am delighted Eva has joined the European Regional Council, this is an opportunity for CIPR members to advocate the importance of learning, partnership and collaboration on a global scale. Both Eva as a Regional Council member and I as a Global Alliance Board member will be doing our utmost to contribute to the development of the profession globally and to share those insights with CIPR members.
