CIPR launches Corporate Affiliate scheme

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has launched Corporate Affiliate, a new corporate membership scheme aimed at recognising and supporting the professional standards of in-house communications teams and PR agencies across the UK and overseas.

Available to teams of 10 or more, Corporate Affiliates will receive enhanced support through dedicated relationship management, which will provide access to bespoke workshops, insight policy briefings and benefits, as well as tailored CPD advice and recommended learning – all alongside the standard benefits of CIPR membership. This follows the review of extensive feedback from existing groups of individual members received throughout 2015.

The scheme launches with more than 30 Corporate Affiliates already on board, with the anticipation that at least 100 organisations in total will be signed up as Corporate Affiliates by year-end.

Alastair McCapra, CIPR Chief Executive
Listening to feedback from members and developing our offering is vital in ensuring PR professionals are well equipped to meet the challenges of the future through CIPR membership.

Corporate Affiliate delivers the enhanced practical support members are asking for. It also provides increased recognition of their commitment to professional standards, helping businesses large and small to set themselves apart from their competitors.

This new scheme is just the first of many steps forward we will be making this year to support organisations and their employees to fulfill their learning, development and business goals.
Alastair McCapra, CIPR Chief Executive

Corporate Affiliates will save a minimum of £450 when compared to individual membership fees, with greater savings available to teams larger than 10 employees, in addition to substantial discounts available on select CIPR training courses.

Employers signed up will also receive a Corporate Affiliate plaque signifying their commitment to professionalism in PR, logos for use across all digital and corporate collateral and a listing on the CIPR website.

More information on Corporate Affiliate is available at www.cipr.co.uk/recognition and all enquiries should be directed to Matthew Hall on 020 7631 6900.
