Empowering female directors - CIPR offers exclusive training discount

The CIPR is offering its female Chartered Practitioners an exclusive discount on a senior training programme designed to meet the professional needs of high-achieving women.

The Confident Woman Director course, provided by In Touch Networks, shares insight on how to successfully navigate the board dynamics of today’s competitive environment, and explores ways of governing as a corporate director.

The programme also serves as a valuable platform and networking opportunity for women in business to explore topics of boardroom diversity, resilience, and empowerment among accomplished peers.

Sarah Hall Chart.PR, FCIPR, CIPR President
Despite the fact that Britain’s most successful companies have women in senior roles, female leaders make up less than a quarter of UK boardrooms.

This is why, as part of our drive to have public relations recognised as a strategic management function, we have brokered a deal for our female Chartered Practitioners on The Confident Woman Director course by In Touch Networks, which is specifically aimed at helping them take a seat at the boardroom table.

Supporting female leaders to influence at business strategy level, develop their networks and build resilience is absolutely critical. When women have confidence, options and a supportive corporate culture, there is very little they can’t achieve.

Amanda Clarke, Director of Curriculum Development
We are delighted to partner with the CIPR to offer its female Chartered Practitioners this exclusive discount on The Confident Woman Director’ course, with complementary access to our director network.

This holistic programme is specifically aimed at female directors wanting to raise their profile among directors and stakeholders, build resilience in dealing with challenging situations and develop positive relationships at a senior level.

Those completing the course will be an effective, confident and competent board member and will have made useful new business connections too.
Amanda Clarke, Director of Curriculum Development

Chartered Practitioners are invited to quote code: CIPR22 to claim a discount of up to 22% on the cost of the course. Chartered Practitioners enrolling in the course will also gain a year's membership for The Womens Director Network complementary (usually priced at £499+VAT).
