Alastair McCapra, CIPR Chief Executive

In 2022 we have seen nearly triple the amount of new Corporate Affiliates joining membership compared to 2021. I am delighted and heartened to see the wide breadth of organisations, representing every sector and industry, across our membership. This demonstrates the growing importance of professional development within public relations, the growing value of public relations across the economy, and will support us to better represent the industry and tell its story.

A very warm welcome to our latest members and, indeed, all those who have joined us in recent months. We look forward to working with you all.

Alastair McCapra, CIPR Chief Executive

About the Chartered Institute of Public Relations

Founded in 1948, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is the world's only Royal Chartered professional body for public relations practitioners in the UK and overseas with nearly 10,000 members.

The CIPR advances professionalism in public relations by making its members accountable to their employers and the public through a code of conduct and searchable public register, setting standards through training, qualifications, awards and the production of best practice and skills guidance, facilitating Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and awarding Chartered Public Relations Practitioner status (Chart.PR).
