Get your internal comms rewarded at the #insidestory awards 2015

Back for a third year with new categories, CIPR Inside launched its #insidestory awards 2015 at its Annual Internal Communication Conference on 2 October at the Kia Oval.

There are 12 categories, each celebrating the best of the best in internal communication practice. The awards are now open for entries and internal communicators and employee engagement specialists are being called to share their #insidestory with CIPR Inside for these innovative awards.

The awards categories are:

  1. Best example of employee engagement
  2. Best change communication campaign
  3. Best public sector or charity campaign
  4. Best internal event
  5. Best use of video
  6. Best intranet or enterprise social network
  7. Best digital magazine or newsletter
  8. Best print magazine or newsletter
  9. Best in-house team (1-6)
  10. Best in-house team (7 and more)
  11. Best agency
  12. Clare Latham award for the best individual contribution to internal communication

The growth of internal communication and increasing importance being placed by organisations on the effectiveness of great employee engagement led to this CIPR sector group developing the #insidestory awards in 2012, with the first ceremony in 2013.

Jenni Wheller, CIPR Inside Chair
With two years of the awards under our belts we understand what our colleagues in the internal communication industry want in terms of awards. So the #insidestory awards have been consolidated this year to provide 12 strong categories for organisations of all shapes and sizes to enter. Best practice and celebrating success are key elements of the CIPR Inside strategy. #insidestory demonstrates our commitment to shining a light on great achievements and promoting best practice. As ever, our judges will be looking beyond the tools themselves and into how those tools and tactics have been used to improve business, achieve firm objectives and how entrants have measured their success. Internal communication is all about better informed, more motivated and engaged employees. When we do our jobs well as communicators, organisations can thrive. These awards celebrate talent, share best practice, measure success and help us all to learn from the best.
