Obituary: Austin Hunter MCIPR
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is saddened to learn of the death of the former BBC journalist and communications professional, Austin Hunter MCIPR.
A member of the Institute since 1990, Austin enjoyed a distinguished career working for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Previously he worked as a press officer and publicist for the BBC, where he became well-known for his television and radio reporting.
Austin later became Editor of the Belfast News Letter and more recently worked as a consultant to communications agency, LK Communications.
Organisations and individuals have been paying tribute to Austin online.
