CIPR members to feature in Government Trade Directory

The CIPR is delighted to announce that the Department for International Trade (DfIT) has directly approached the Institute to offer its members the opportunity to be listed on the Government’s newly launched UK Investment Services Directory (formerly the UK Advisory Network or UKAN Directory).

Membership to the UK Investment Support Directory is free and provides an opportunity for businesses aiming to expand their networks and increase their visibility to foreign investors across international markets.

Alastair McCapra, CIPR Chief Executive
We welcome the Government’s decision to launch the Directory, which provides foreign investors with a list of trusted partners they can work with. We are delighted to present this opportunity to our independent practitioner and agency members and hope those with the relevant experience will apply to be listed. Furthermore, this demonstrates the value that CIPR membership offers and that the professional standards and ethical approach demanded by membership is held in high regard.
Alastair McCapra, CIPR Chief Executive
Graham Stuart, Minister for Investment
This support directory is just one of the ways in which DIT is helping to drive investment to every corner of the UK.

We are making it easier than ever before for foreign investors to find opportunities in the UK, supported by our network of HMTCs and global experts across more than 100 countries.
Graham Stuart, Minister for Investment

Businesses or independent practitioners interested in applying will need to complete and submit an application form, which lists the required criteria including two examples of previous experience in aiding foreign investors in setting up or expanding in the UK. For an application form please email CIPR’s Senior Policy Officer, Jon Gerlis.

Applications will remain open for four weeks; from Friday 16 November to 11:59pm Monday 17 December with businesses expected to find out if they have been accepted in early 2019. The new Directory will be launched in spring 2019. For more information please visit the following link on the government website.
